This is an A. Schild Calibre 168 movement. The identification of this calibre and reference was made using the 1936 edition of Jobin's "La Classification Horlogère Suisse," as evidenced by the included extract.

It's important to note that the movement pictured is smaller than the 13 ligne size specified in the classification extract; it's closer to 11 lignes. A. Schild produced variations of this design in multiple sizes.

The watch housing this movement is constructed with a nine-carat gold case, featuring Stockwell and Company's sponsor's mark GS, along with import hallmarks from the London Assay Office for the year 1926/27. Additionally, it bears a Swiss Poinçon de Maître, characterized by the enigmatic Hammer with Handle, and marked with the number 130. The movement itself is adorned with the Sunbeam 554 trademark, which is engraved on the barrel bridge.
